I have had the privilege of meeting different people every day
facing unpredictable situations
Breaking bad news and comforting people going through their most
difficult times
Spending days on the mental health wards where many of the people
are misunderstood, have emotional issues and find it difficult to
trust and open up to others something I really related to
especially as I have had to overcome my own depression in the past
I believe it has given more empathy towards others especially
people in the community who are struggling and misunderstood I
have had to learn different ways of communication to try and
engage others to advise and help them I now have excellent skills
when communicating with others
I want to use these skills and platform to help give back to the
community by working with the charities Alzheimer's Research UK
and We Do Ethical
I chose Alzheimer’s Research UK due to my grandma having this
condition and I want to help enhance research so one day we live
in a world where there is a cure for Alzheimer's
